520 nm Femtosecond Laser

Chromacity was spun off from a laboratory at Heriot-Watt University. The company focuses on the research and development of wavelength-tunable femtosecond lasers, which cover the range from ultraviolet (UV) to mid-infrared (MIR) and are widely used in scientific research and industrial fields. Its 520nm femtosecond laser is particularly suitable for biomedical imaging and semiconductor applications, providing an average power of up to 2W and a pulse duration of less than 150fs. This device features a compact design for easy system integration and supports fiber optic transmission options.

A reliable 520 nm femtosecond laser is a fixed-wavelength light source that delivers green ultra-short pulses with high average power.

 

Pumped by high-quality pulses from our Chromacity 1040, the 520 nm second harmonic generation (SHG) light is efficiently generated with a pulse duration of less than 150 fs.

This SHG module can be used in combination with the Chromacity 1040 to generate an average power of up to 2 W. Applications include photomask defect detection via ultrasonic technology and fluorescence lifetime measurement.

The compact housing enables easy system integration and also offers fiber optic transmission options.
